Dr Tanmay gupta did his schooling at the prestigious Holy cross School, kapa and went on to do his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru medical college, Wardha and internship from Dr. BhimRao ambedkar hospital, GMC, Raipur. He further went on to complete his post-graduation in Ophthalmology from KLE society - Jawaharlal Nehru medical college, belagavi.

Presently he is working as Consultant Ophthalmologist at Om netra Kendra hospitals LLP . His areas of interest are Cataract and Refractive surgery and medical Retina.
He is the pioneer of Artificial intelligence guided MICS surgery in Chhattisgarh.

He has operated nearly 5000 phaco cataract surgeries in a short span of 18 + 6 months as trainee and consultant at Sitapur eye hospital.
He has also worked as a trainee under International legend for Vitreo Retina - Dr shobhit Chawla at Prakash netra kendr for medical Retina.

He comes from a pioneering legacy of Dr Harshvardhan gupta , a pioneer in Refractive and squint surgery in state of Chhattisgarh.
He has been awarded the” Prof prem prakash award " for best paper in pediatric ophthalmology at AIOC 2020, Gurugram, and Best e paper award at CSOS 2023. He has multiple publications in national and international journals.

Dr. Tanmay gupta has been an active participant in various national and state eye conferences. He has presented his scientific work at numerous academic events.
